Muscat: The Ministry of Social Development has welcomed the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to pay an additional salary to social security categories with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Environment Authority has also appreciated the directives of His Majesty on accelerating the procedures for establishing and regulating the green hydrogen sector and adding a general directorate to this important file in the Ministry of Energy and Mining.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Omari, Head of the Environment Authority, in a statement to the Oman News Agency, said: “The Sultanate of Oman is moving forward with the same confident steps to protect the environment, preserve its natural resources and reduce carbon pollution. The directives are a clear message that reflects the extent of environmental concern in the Sultanate of Oman and the extent of its contribution Effective in achieving global environmental commitment to the sustainability of the planet and its ecosystem for the current and future generations.”
His Excellency Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, the Minister of Social Development, says: “His Majesty the Sultan has given his directives that government service agencies should follow up and provide the necessary care for them to achieve an adequate standard of living by meeting their basic needs to face changes in the prices of goods and services.”
