The fifth edition of Al Bashayer Annual Festival for Arabian Camel Racing concluded under the auspices of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, at Al Bashayer Racetrack, on Saturday. The closing ceremony was attended by HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan. The 6-day camel festival witnessed four main racing rounds for 8 km distance and a 12 km endurance race. At the end of the festival, HH Sayyid Theyazin distributed prizes for top winners.
