Muscat: Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-Up Unit is establishing its offices at government units. A familiarization meeting to impart this concept was held on Thursday with representatives of government departments tasked with programmes, initiatives and projects of Oman Vision 2040.
The intermediary offices will cap the success of Oman Vision 2040, lending technical support and transferring knowledge and expertise about the methodologies and functions designed to enhance the goals of the long-term vision.
The meeting envisaged a model for the new offices and their guiding principles, in accordance with the proposed governance model.
The teams tasked with the offices will promote the quality of plans and management of performance of Oman Vision-related programmes.
Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-Up Unit will hold regular meetings with teams of the new offices to ensure the durability of their roles.
