Muscat: The Ministry of Labour on Sunday held a joint meeting with a Qatari delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of joint labour, expertise of human development and matters of common interests between the two countries.

The meeting reviewed employment in the public and private sectors in the Sultanate of Oman, wage subsidy, labour welfare and training, as well as the stages of rate development in employment and nationalization.

The Qatari delegation was briefed on the Omani experience in the field of jobs nationalization, training and rehabilitation, in addition to fields of safety and vocational wellness.

The meeting was attended by undersecretaries and officials from both sides.
