Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, on Wednesday visited the Ministry of Defence and the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces at Muaskar Al Murtafaa.
His Majesty listened to a briefing about the Ministry of Defence, presented by Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence.
His Majesty listened to a briefing about the Chief of Staff of Sultan’s Armed Forces, its administrations and various units presented by Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of Sultan’s Armed Forces.
The visit comes within the framework of the Royal attention accorded by the Supreme Commander to the affiliates of the Ministry of Defence and units of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, in recognition of their substantial roles in safeguarding the nations and preserving its achievements.
