MUSCAT: Khalid bin Mohammed al Zubair, President of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC), received Issa bin Mohammed Abdul Rahim, President of the Bahraini and International Sports for All Federations, at his office on Tuesday.
Issa is currently visiting Oman with regard to the International Sports for All Federation’s efforts to communicate with National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and sports bodies and to oversee their programmes.
The body is monitoring the technical and administrative needs to promote sports and instil the concept among various segments of society. Also present was Dr Juma bin Ahmed al Kaabi, Ambassador of Bahrain in Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, they discussed ways and prospects for cooperation between the International Sports for All Federation and OOC and some ideas and projects that would contribute to the development of sports.
