UPDATED Muscat: Three teachers were died in a road accident in Mahout in Al Wusta Governorate on Sunday, according to local sources.
The Ministry of Education in Al Wusta Governorate offered condolences to the deceased’s families in a statement issued via social media report. Teachers are from Al Noor School for Basic Education
According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place following a collision between two vehicles, which led to the death of two teachers on the spot, while two others were in critical condition. Later, one of the two teachers who were in critical condition died.
In February this year, two Omani students were killed and several others were injured in a road accident in Nizwa, according to Nizwa University. The students were traveling in a bus from home to Nizwa University.
Oman Meteorology had reported that low clouds intensified on parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman and the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta, and the spread of high clouds on parts of the southeast coast.
