Muscat: To combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, over 3,000 houses in various areas of Muscat Governorate have been sprayed with more than 900 litres of insecticides from March 27 till April 6, 2022.
According to Muscat Municipality, the number of homes covered in the campaign reached 3,666, including 2,857 in Ghubra area in the Wilayat of Baushar, 254 in Al Ansab area in the Wilayat of Baushar, 235 in Al Hail South in the Wilayat of Seeb , 30 in Al Bahais Valley area in the Wilayat of Seeb and 290 in the Wilayat of Al Amerat. 916 litres of insecticides were used to limit the spread of the Aedes aegypti mosquito.
