Salalah: Al Najd Nature and Environment Conservation Unit, affiliated to the Directorate General for Environment in Dhofar achieved in 2021 the first place at the level of protection units in the Sultanate.
The achievement came within the annual competition organised by the Environment Authority.
Al Buraimi Unit came second followed by Al Saleel Unit in the third place.
Mohammed bin Said Jadad supervisor at Al Najd Unit said that the Al Najd Unit at the Environment control and emergency divisions at the Directorate General of Environment in Dhofar Governorate said that the unit conducts continued field operations to document aspects of wildlife at Najd region.
