Muscat: In a ceremony held on Thursday at PSM Library Hall, draws were held for the PSM Ramadan Cricket Tournament 2022.
Team managers and captains of 20 teams were present at the draws. The chief organiser Syed Jameel Zaidi conducted the draws with coordinator Abdul Qayum, sports head of PSM, in the presence of members of Board of Directors–Amir Saeed, Irashad, Sr. Principal Nasir Khatak. The chief organiser thanked the teams for their participation in the tournament.
Sr. Principal Mr. Nasir Khatak asked the teams to bring their families to make this a more vibrant event as mouth-watering Pakistani cuisine would be served at PSM.
The draws were conducted in a professional manner in front of all representatives of the teams. Haider Ali, part of the Technical Committee, gave his assistance by using the latest technology in this event.
Mrs. Azra Aleem, Commentator, assisted the chief organiser and the team during the draws.
The opening match was played between PSM Cricket Team and Pakistan Embassy Team at 9.30 pm.
The chief guest Mian Muhammad Riaz inaugurated the event along with other dignitaries. A large number of families were present there to witness the live cricket action.
