Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman will attend the joint annual meetings of the World Bank and the Fund and the International Monetary Fund for the year 2022, which will be held in Washington from April 18 to 28.
Nasser bin Khamis al Jashmi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance; Abdul Salam bin Mohammed al Murshidi – chairman of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) and Taher bin Salem al Omari, CEO, Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and a number of officials will attend the meetings.
The meeting will discuss the impact of the repercussions of the Covid pandemic on development prospects, the Impact of recent geopolitical developments on the global and also the climate change.
