Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth will preside over the opening ceremony of Oman’s pavilion in the 59th edition of the Biennale Arte 2022 International Arts Exhibition, scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday).
The five-day event, which will be held in Venice, Italy from 23 to 27 April 2022.
The Sultanate of Oman aims from participating in this art exhibition to highlight the Omani culture locally and internationally and to bolster its cultural position. It also targets reflecting its approaches in achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040 in the cultural sphere, locally and internationally.
The number of visitors to the Biennale Arte averages 600,000 to 1 million visitors from all over the world each year and the event’s website views reach 10 million.
The event is covered by 8,100 international media entities, news agencies and international newspapers.
