The Muscat Orthodox parish is celebrating its Golden Jubilee celebrations this year and the supreme head of the Indian Orthodox Church was the chief celebrant for the Holy Week services 2022 of the Muscat parish. Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, was the chief guest at a reception hosted for Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Catholicos of the East, and Malankara Metropolitan, at St Thomas Church, Ruwi. The Catholicos presented a memento to the ambassador who delivered the keynote address at the reception hosted by Mar Gregorios Orthodox Maha Edavaka (MGOME), Muscat, in which religious leaders and dignitaries took part.
