When you visit Nizwa, all the smaller abodes and structures are eclipsed by the massiveness of Nizwa Fort. A tour inside the fort can take an hour or two depending on which sections you would like to see. The climb towards the peak of the tower would already tire you out that you won’t have time to visit the surrounding village.
But one thing you have to understand about Nizwa is that it is a city of beautiful details. To understand what it is all about, beyond the fort and the souq, you would have to look up, or carefully inside alleys to see details that would make you appreciate this city that has once been the Centre of Islam in Oman.

These inns not only vary in attractions, some also have the best balconies overlooking gardens and ruins while others are decorated with antiques and ornaments that date back several eras.
