Muscat: The Ministry of Interior announced today the end of submission of applications for candidacy for membership of Municipal Councils for the third period, which lasted three weeks.
The ministry said: “The ministry will complete the procedures for examining and coordinating those requests with the concerned authorities.”
The ministry that it has received, via the elections website (elections.om), all the requests of citizens wishing to run for candidacy who fulfilled the candidacy conditions stipulated in Article (10) of the Municipal Councils Law issued by Royal Decree No. 126/2020.
