كشفت ابل أمس في WWDC عن الإصدار الجديد من أنظمة تشغيلها الرئيسية – تلك التي تشغل الهواتف والأجهزة اللوحية والساعات وأجهزة الكمبيوتر الخاصة بها. فيما يلي أي من الأجهزة الحالية سيتم تحديثها إلى الإصدار الجديد.
iOS 16
يضيف iOS 16 عناصر واجهة مستخدم إلى شاشة القفل، ويحسن الإشعارات، ويضيف ميزات جديدة إلى الرسائل، ودعم Apple Wallet للتعامل مع المعرفات الرقمية والدفع لاحقًا. هناك أيضًا ميزة Always On Display.
يدعم نظام التشغيل iOS 16 أجهزة iPhone 8/8 Plus و iPhone X من طرازات 2017 والإصدارات الأحدث. هذا يعني أن بعض الأجهزة القديمة التي تعمل بالإصدار 15 – iPhone 6s (من 2015) و iPhone 7 و SE الأصلي و iPod touch (الجيل السابع) – لم تعد مدعومة.
iPadOS 16
أضاف iPadOS 16 إمكانات محسّنة لتعدد المهام ودعمًا كاملاً لشاشات العرض الخارجية على أجهزة iPad التي تعمل بنظام M1. بالإضافة إلى ذل ، هناك أدوات تعاون جديدة لـ Mail و Safari، ووصل تطبيق Weather إلى أجهزة Apple اللوحية جنبًا إلى جنب مع تحسينات أخرى.
يدعم الإصدار الجديد جميع إصدارات iPad Pro، و iPad Airs (الجيل الثالث والإصدارات الأحدث)، و Vanilla iPad (الجيل الخامس والإصدارات الأحدث)، و iPad mini (الجيل الخامس والإصدارات الأحدث).
مقارنةً بـ iPadOS 15، يؤدي هذا إلى انخفاض الدعم لـ iPad Air 2 (اعتبارًا من 2014 ، يبلغ من العمر 8 سنوات تقريبًا الآن) و iPad mini 4 (2015).
watchOS 9
