Muscat: The Public Authority for Social Insurance extended the period of exempting employers from the additional amounts incurred by them as a result of the delay in registering and notifying the Authority of the end of the service of the insured.
The Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: “The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Social Insurance agrees, during its meeting, to extend the period of exempting employers from the additional amounts incurred by them as a result of the delay in registering and notifying the Authority of the end of the service of the insured. In addition to providing facilities to employers and insured persons registered in the self-employed system and the system for workers abroad.”
ONA added: “Revenues from social insurance investments exceeded OMR 300 million last year, resulting from the Authority’s investment of part of its assets in local and foreign investment tools.”
