Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, took part on Thursday in the 6th meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Food Safety, held at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat General in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Oman’s delegation in the meeting was headed by Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
The meeting discussed a spectrum of topics, namely updating the GCC guide for control on imported food and approving the modification of the GCC unified food system, among other topics.
