Muscat: The body of the second missing person in Sohar was found in the Wadi Ahin stream by citizens assisting in the search, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) announced on Sunday evening.
CDAA said: “With this, the search ends, and the Authority extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of those who died. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the brave men who contributed to the search operations, including security teams and citizens.”
Previously, the authority had announced that two people were missing in Wadi Ahin in the state of Sohar on Friday. Water rescue teams earlier were able to find one of them on Saturday.
