Muscat: Efforts to find members of a family of expatriates, who were swept to sea in the Al Mughsail area of Dhofar Governorate, are still ongoing, the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said.
ROP said in a statement: “Efforts to search for the five Asian family members, including three missing children, continue in the Al Mughsail area in the Dhofar Governorate, after they were swept into the sea by crashing waves when they crossed the safety fence on the rocky cliff in the area.”
The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has received on Sunday a report that a family of eight people fell into the sea after they crossed the safety fence of Al Mughsail Beach. Three of them were rescued and five of them are still missing.
