Ayn Athum is located on the eastern side of Salalah. Athum waterfall, which is 15 metres in height, is located at the top of Wadi Khushaim in the east of the city of Salalah. It is accessible via the road leading to Taqah.
Ayn Khor that is located in the western part of the city is a favourite tourist spot during Khareef. It is located in Raysut about 500 metres from the main road. The source of the crystal clear water is located in Wadi Jardum, around 20 km from Salalah. Ayn Khor attracts hundreds of tourists annually.
Enjoy the pleasant showers and serenity but don’t forget to stay safe as most of these waterfalls have strong currents and hence not safe for swimming. Visitors must ensure that they pay heed to all the warnings and safety measures.
