Muscat: The Crescent of the Hijri month of Muharram 1444 AH has not been sighted in the Sultanate of Oman, said a statement issued by the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs on Thursday.
The statement further explained that tomorrow “Friday” will be the 30th of Dhul-Hijjah 1443 AH. Therefore, the first day of Muharram 1444 AH and the new Hijri year will be this Saturday, July 30, 2022.
