Nizwa Fort topped the list of visitors among the castles of the Sultanate of Oman, The National Centre for Statistics and Information, tweeted on Friday. Out of 111,211 visitors to the various castles and forts of the Sultanate of Oman, Nizwa fort accounted for 55,636 visitors. “The total number of visitors to the Sultanate of Oman’s castles and forts during the year amounted to 111,211 people. The number of visitors decreased by 17 per cent compared to 2020, and Nizwa Castle ranked first in terms of the number of visitors with 55,636 visitors, and Tharmad Fort recorded the lowest with only 16 visitors.”
