Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) on Monday, rescued a citizen from Wadi Darbat. He was taken to the hospital but died enroute.
CDAA said in a statement: “The authority’s teams in the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Dhofar responded to the report of a drowning accident involving a citizen in Wadi Darbat. He was taken to the hospital, but he died.”
The authority calls on visitors to Dhofar to not to swim in the springs, waterfalls, and beaches, to avoid unfortunate drowning accidents.
