Muscat: Around 1,000 kg of shrimp prepared for sale during the ban period, were seized by the fisheries control team in the Governorate of Muscat.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources said: “The fisheries control team in the Governorate of Muscat managed to seize and confiscate 1,000 kg of shrimp prepared for sale during the fishing and trading ban season, which starts from December 1 to August 31, with the exception of farmed and imported shrimp. Legal procedures will be completed against the violator.”
