Salalah: A two-day workshop on “Continuation of Media Engineering Work under Crises and Disasters”, organised by the Ministry of Information in cooperation with the Secretariat General of the GCC States concluded here on Tuesday.
The programme of the conclusion of the workshop comprised five working papers.
The first working paper is on management of crises at Royal Oman Police while the second was on employment of engineering supplies during crises.
The third working paper is on climate and tropical conditions in the Sultanate, the fourth working paper is on lessons derived from crises and disasters and the fifth working paper is on the International Telecommunications Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Media Authorities.
The workshop aimed to activate the media engineering cooperation and exchange of expertise among the various media corporations at the GCC States, mainly under the various weather conditions and crises.
