MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation announced the start of registration for Falling Walls Lab Oman 2022 competition. The event is organised in cooperation with Falling Walls Lab Foundation.
Registration for the contest is open till September 1, according to the Ministry, which indicated that, on September 19, innovators have an opportunity to articulate their intellectual products within a period of 3 minutes before an arbitration committee.
The winner of the local round will contest a similar international event on November 8, 2022 in the city of Berlin, Germany, and attend a related global conference the next day, which will see the final rounds of the competition.
The competition was founded by the Falling Walls Lab Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Berlin, on November 9, 1989. — ONA
