Muscat: At least 70,000 Omanis receive monthly wages of less than OMR 400 in the private sector, Omani Economic Association said.
According to the statistics published by the Omani Economic Association, 71,162 insured Omani workers in the private sector received a monthly wage of less than OMR 400 during the first half of 2021.
The statistics also showed that 15,530 Omanis’ monthly wage is more than OMR 2,000. The statistics also revealed that the total number of insured Omanis working in the private sector until the first six months of 2021 is 256,806.
