The weather forecast from Met Office stated that mainly clear skies with advection of medium and high clouds will prevail over most of the governorates with chance of clouds formation over Al Hajar Mountains toward afternoon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar governorates and adjoining mountains with intermittent drizzle. Chance of isolated rain occasionally thundershower is expected over Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates. Chance of low clouds of fog at late night or early morning over parts of the coastal areas of Oman Sea.

Along Arabian Sea winds will be southwesterly moderate to fresh. Along Oman Sea coastal areas wind will be northeasterly to easterly light to moderate becoming variable light at night and over rest of the governorates winds will be southwesterly to southerly light to moderate occasionally fresh over deserts and open areas of al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
