Muscat: Commodore Tarik Issa Al Raisi, Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), received on Sunday Rear Admiral Sameer Saxena, Commander of the Indian Navy’s Western Fleet.
The two sides exchanged views on various matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Commodore Jasim Mohammed Al Balushi, RNO Director of Operations and Plans and the Military Attaché of the Indian embassy at Muscat.
Meanwhile, the guest also toured the Maritime Security Centre’s (MSC) facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties. He was also briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the maritime environment.
