Muscat: Three people have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for fraud and selling foreign currencies.
“The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation arrested three people of Arab nationality on charges of fraud and selling foreign currencies in exchange for sums in Omani Rials. The accused showed video clips to victims which included several foreign currencies, and tricked them in order to seize the amounts in their own possession. The legal procedures are being completed against them. ” ROP said in a statement.
