Muscat: Automated drilling equipment, as well as a manual digger, being used to drill illegal wells without procuring the required licenses, were seized thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources, in order to reduce the drilling of random and unlicensed wells.
“To limit the drilling of random and unlicensed wells, the Control Department of the General Directorate of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate was able to seize automatic drilling equipment and a manual digger while drilling wells without licenses, and legal procedures are being completed against violators,” the Ministry said.
