Muscat: Majlis Al Shura Office in its meeting held on Tuesday discussed the reply of the Council of Ministers on the requests for discussions presented by Majlis Al Shura on the graduates (academic outputs) yet to join the labour market and the issue of creation of a legal system to regulate the cooperative societies and the strategic road projects.
The Council of Ministers in its reply confirmed approval of the requests for discussion and for the Majlis Al Shura’s hosting the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Minister of Economy for a discussion on unemployed graduates as well as hosting the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for a discussion on enacting a legal system regulating the cooperative societies and hosting the Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for a discussion on the strategic projects in the field of roads.
The Majlis Al Shura Office also approved a request for briefing on utilisation of Wadi Dayqah Dam addressed to the Chairman of Oman Investment Authority among other issues.
