Muscat: Oman has called for the restoration of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
“The Sultanate, in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign, calls for the return of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria as soon as possible and to address the contentious issues between them through dialogue and understanding in a manner that preserves for the two countries’ interests in security, stability and permanence of cooperation based on the principles of being good neighbours and non-interference in internal affairs,” Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
