Muscat: Quantities of chewing tobacco and cigarettes in the Sultanate of Oman have been seized by the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in Dhofar Governorate.
“As part of its efforts to combat the spread of unauthorised traded goods, the Consumer Protection Department in Al Mazyona was able to seize quantities of chewing tobacco and cigarettes in violation of specifications and standards in a warehouse belonging to one of the commercial establishments in the wilayat, ” CPA said in a statement.
