Head north from Muscat towards Sohar and just after Saham before Al Qasabiyat, take a right (any right) and drive until the road meets the sea. Here, in the middle of nowhere, sits the ruins of a little abandoned tower surrounded by fishermen boats. Continue heading north and from Sohar before turning onto Route 7 towards Buraimi take the diversion to Mahdah at the roundabout in Humaydah.
Enjoy the drive between rocky mountains through Wadi Sharm, a narrow valley with breathtaking views. The narrow, winding road will take you straight to Wadi Al Qahfi in Al Fayy. With the water flowing most of the year this Wadi offers plenty of activities for the visitors. While you watch the rocky mountains and the palm on your way, you will surely get mesmerised when you see the natural swimming pool below.
