MUSCAT: The Directorate-General of Curriculum Development at the Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Specialist Centre for Professional Training of Teachers, conducted a training programme on optimal application of the chain ‘Team Together Oman’, one of the latest international educational chains produced by the British Pearson Education, from August 28 to September 1.
The training programme targets English language trainers at the Ministry of Education as well as supervisors and curriculum specialists.
The training programme includes but not limited to introducing the framework of the curriculum based on the European Framework of Reference for Languages, the future skills of educational curricula, the components of the educational chain, the teaching of English phonetics, the optimal use of the interactive version of the educational chain on the educational platform and assessing the students’ performance and following up on their academic reports.
