MUSCAT: The new academic year (2022-2023) at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will begin today.
Dr Naifa bint Eid Bait Saleem, Dean of Students Affairs, said that the Deanship of Students Affairs on Saturday began receiving students who are eligible for accommodation at the student residence. She noted that the university’s dormitory accommodates 5,000 female students and students of special needs.
Dr Abdulaziz bin Mahmoud al Meherzi, Director-General of Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, said that the hospital administration welcomes all students at the outset of the new academic year, affirming the hospital’s readiness to deliver quality health services through the students’ clinic and various sections of the hospital. — ONA
