Muscat: In yet another hit-and-run accident, a school teacher died on the spot on Sunday. The mathematics teacher was from a school in Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate.
Al-Khalil Bin Abdullah School for Basic Education for grades (10,11,12), in Fanja region, Al Dakhliyah Governorate mourns the teacher Issa Al-Habib Al-Ashi, saying: “The educational family at Al-Khalil bin Abdullah School for Basic Education mourns its deceased teacher Issa Al-Habib Al-Ashi, the mathematics teacher in the school. May God inspire his family and relatives patience and solace.”
It is worth noting that the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated that the percentage of traffic accidents during 2021 as a result of hit-and-run accidents amounted to 297, which is 19.3 per cent of the total accidents, according to what was stated by the traffic system for the year 2022.
