His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Abdel Majid Taboun of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The message was handed over to HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, by Mohamed Arkab, Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines. During the meeting of HH Sayyid Asaad with the Algerian minister, the two sides reviewed the distinguished relations binding the two countries, and means of promoting them in all areas. The meeting was attended by the Secretary General and the two Advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad, as well as Filali Guenni, Ambassador of Algeria to the Sultanate of Oman, and members of the delegation accompanying the guest. — ONA
