Abu Dhabi: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a written message to Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The message deals with the distinguished relations binding the two countries and matters of common interest.
The message was handed over by HH Sayyid Fatik bin Fahr al Said, Special Envoy of His Majesty the Sultan, when Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed received him at Qasr Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
During the meeting, HH Sayyid Fatik conveyed greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to Shaikh Mohammed and the Emirati people.
On his turn, the UAE President asked Sayyid Fatik to convey his sincere sentiments and best wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan. The UAE President also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Dr Ahmed bin Hilal al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the UAE. — ONA
