Muscat: Maj Gen Mattar Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Sunday Maj Gen Patrick D Frank, Chief of Staff of the United States (US) Central Command.
The two sides exchanged views and reviewed several military matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Salim Saif al Hosni, Senior Staff Officer at the RAO Command and Brigadier Sultan Mohammed al Maamari, Director General of Operations and Intelligence at RAO.
