Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Dr Hilal Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health left here on Sunday to head Oman’s delegation at the first meeting of the Global Group of Heads of State and Government for the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Injuries (Global NCD Compact).
The several-day meeting will start from September 21, 2022 in New York, the United States of America (USA).
The meeting discusses means of supporting global action and response on NCDs and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
