Mall of Muscat – Maabela, Oman’s most luxurious mall, has signed an agreement with Adventure World to launch Oman’s tallest indoor climbing structure. Located on the second floor of the mall, the Olympic Standard adventure climbing arena will feature 14 levels of climbing and 6 levels of boulders and is set to open its doors in March 2023.
The facility will feature various climbing routes designed for all skill levels such as beginners, intermediate and advanced depending on their level of experience. Speaking during the official signing ceremony at Mall of Muscat Majid Al Mrshoudi CEO of Adventure World said “Adventure World will be a one of a kind indoor climbing arena in the Sultanate of Oman which will aim to improve the awareness of this sport among young aspiring athletes who wish to take this sport up on a professional level, moreover just about anyone who is interested to try this activity can do so safely at our arena as we will be having professionally trained personnel present at all times managing the various climbing routes.
This facility will also provide a safe environment for local professional athletes to train for international competitions without having to travel far to train. We also plan to have engaging activities with the community within the arena such as school groups, ministries and corporate team building activities.etc ”

The Adventure World will also be launching an exclusive training, safety and rescue centre for climbing and canyoning to further enhance the activities within the Arena. Training will be conducted in an exclusive 10 metre hanging and climbing zone by qualified international experts both male and female. The centre will also offer exclusive ladies only timings added Majid Al Mrshoudi.
