Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has been ranked first globally in the ratio of science and engineering graduates out of the total number of graduates. The Sultanate also stood third in the government spending index per student.
Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that the Sultanate of Oman is ranked first globally in the science and engineering outputs index from the total number of graduates, and third globally in the government spending index per student according to the results of the Global Innovation Index for 2022 issued by the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
The index indicates that the Sultanate of Oman has advanced 5 ranks in innovation inputs, and advanced 3 ranks in innovation outputs. Oman’s rank in the index is 79 globally out of 132 countries.
