Sayyid Theyazin to preside over Wusool Project launch

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth will preside over the launch of Electronic Records and Archives Management “Wusool” Project at Al Bustan Palace Hotel on Monday.

Wusool Project is one of the national projects concerned with digital transformation led by the National Records and Archives Authority and is in line with the government efforts aimed to boost the e.governance within implementation of Oman Vision 2040.

The project aims to provide a system for optimal management of archives and records in consistent with the National Manual of the Procedures for Management of Electronic Records and Archives.

The project for managing e. records and archive is a system to take care of all electronic records and archives of establishments in accordance with the standards and procedures followed by the National Records and Archives Authority.

The system represents a specialised and safe platform which enables government departments to initiate and manage all electronic records in an integrated manner.

The system also enables such departments to directly communicate reducing paperwork and facilitates procedures and upgrades the efficiency of communication of government departments.
