Muscat: Responding to rumours circulating online about the adoption of additional fees for electricity, Muscat Municipality issued a clarification.
Muscat Municipality said: “With reference to what is being circulated on social media regarding a decision by the Muscat Municipality to set additional fees for consuming the electricity bill. We would like to inform you that these fees are the ones previously in force according to the local order 1/2003, and the municipality did not add or modify these fees.”
