MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Public Relations Department and Communication & Media Department organised on Thursday the First Public Relations & Media Forum under the auspices of Dr Fatima bint Mohammed al Ajmiyah, MoH Under-Secretary for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs in Sheraton Hotel.
A number of heads of public relations and patient services departments along with social media accounts administrators attended the forum.
Adel bin Hamoud al Lamki, Director of Public Relations in the Ministry of Health, touched upon the significant efforts of the two departments in highlighting the ministry’s services to enhance the health system.
He also stressed the vital role of public relations and communication and media in linking the ministry to the outward, which presents the ministry in the best image.
The forum included lectures addressing the royal protocols, creating media content, monitoring and analysing news, and dealing with rumours and fake news.
