Muscat: Three expatriate workers have been arrested for fishing off the coast of Duqm and the equipment being used, including the boat engine was seized in Al Wusta governorate on Thursday.
“The Fisheries Control Team in Al Wusta Governorate managed on Thursday to arrest three expatriate workers found practicing commercial fishing off the coast of Duqm. The engine of the fishing boat was seized and the violators were referred to the competent authorities,” the Ministry of Fisheries office in Al Wusta Governorate said.
