Muscat: The Governorate of Muscat will play host to Spartan Challenge and Endurance Race, which will be held on December 16 and 17, 2022. The race, the most prominent of its kind, kicks off from Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
The race form part of activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and comes in the context of cooperation between the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) and Spartan Arabia. It comprises a number of races, which are Spartan 5-km Sprint punctuated with 20 obstacles, Spartan Super Race (10 km, 25 obstacles), Spartan Beast (21 km, 30 obstacles) and a race codenamed “Hurricane Return”, which lasts 4 hours and is a team endurance race for teams, as well as special races for children.
